Sometimes I'm really unsure whether I have come to the correct shift. Although I have left the similar shift for 3 to 4 months, alot of things have changed. Out of a sudden, I feeling that I'm being targeted at, especially from one person. After 3 weeks of joining back and mounting back at Shift 3, all I have done is to get into the people's good books. So far I have done well, starting to talk and joked around with some, except maybe two or three of them I have yet to start to talk to them. Even though I will to try to talk to them in future, one relationship between me and another shift mate will almost never turn better. Why? He keeps remembering what I said to him while I came back to mount with them while I'm still inside the GOH group. Yes, it may be sarcastic, but has he taken this joke too far to the extent that he keeps reminding what I told him again and again. This incident happened more then 2 months ago and seriously, I think he's a freaking idiot. When he talked on the comm set about the incident again yesterday. All I wanted was to shout at him in the comm set and ask him to freaking shut the heck up. It's too personal already. But as I have not gain much of a foothold, I could only listen and calm myself down. If not, he could be seriously dead by now. I really hate these kind of people. It's getting on my nerves. Why can't he like others, listen and scold back and then after months, forget the whole thing and get along with life? If he doesn't do that, I don't think I can communicate with him again.
This mount's quite ok, working for 18 hours out of the possible 48 is just great. Resting is good enough, but the 2 new ICTs are snoring away, causing, to my surprise, Shi Kiat to curse and shout outside the bunk, waking quite a few people up in process.
Tomorrow's standby day, I don't know why S3 would plan a standby date on a sunday and saturday. It happens to us on last saturday and now sunday this week. I just can't believe, how a MAJ, can plan up to an extent, a weekend, furthermore a full standby on a weekend?!?! Wake up. While he and other officers are staying at home and enjoying time with their families, we, their men, are in base doing the standby(which is doing nothing except to wait for time to come to return home). Why can't he make this out? 365 days, barring any leave or off, we are in camp to some extent. Do you know it takes me more than an hour and a half to get to camp and stay in there for some stupid standby and then take the same amount of time to return home, spending slightly 6 hours in camp practically doing nothing while officers stay at home and shake their legs?! Piss not just me myself, but some others are surely feeling the anger.
Ok, that's all for today. Hope that next week will be a better week for me. Good luck to me!!! ;)
