RSAF Day Training

Yohz, I finally back at home after 2 straight days of RSAF day trainings. Although the training hours are short, it seems that it's taking up alot of my energy. Well, it's not just happen to me though, everyone's tired out just after the first day of training and after the second day of training, we were all exhausted. Haiz...

As the GOH contingent is broken up into 2 seperate contingent for the colours party to sequeeze in, a new batch of people from other squadrens are coming into GOH. It really spoilts our harmony in the actual contingent, new people meaning that we have to train and go back to the basics, which many of them are unhappy about, thus giving whole lot of attitude. The new guys are not doing well enough and with only 2 weeks to train them up, I don't think they will have enough time to do the drills well. We, the NDP and SAF day trained personals took 4 months to train to what we are today, although not perfect, but we are already up there. And the new guys want to get in with only 2 weeks of training? Please, you have much to do. The RSMs training them are in deep trouble. How to solve this problem? Extra trainings seperately and not with us, if not those who cannot march properly are cammoflage inside, thus RSMs cannot spot their problem and when the actual day comes, CAF, CDF and the ministers will come after the EXCO chairman, who will come after the RSM, in the end, RSMs will come after the whole lot of us. How interesting but I don't wish to be involve.

That's not all, while we are having our run of the parade, the parade commander shouting the command is so soft and unclear that the warrent officer have to shout at him! Lol.. Seriously, having a parade commander to shout like this is the worst way to start the parade and while the parade progresses, the warrents are spending alot of time discussing among themselves whether where thee guest of honour and the guests are surpose to stand and we have to wait for them to finish discussing their own conversations before we can proceed with the parade and thus we spend alot of time standing under the hot sun while waiting and because of that, some of the people fainted or fall out of the parade. Overall, I think the 40th RSAF day parade will be a disaster unless something special is going to happen. Good luck to them. :(

I've to return to camp tonight because there's a training tomorrow afternoon. After so many trainings of SAF and NDP, this is the one that I'm totally not looking forward to. Warrents who have issues regarding the parade, please wait until the whole training's over and not while we are standing under the freaking hot sun and have your own conversations while the supporting contingents, colours party and GOH stand outside cursing and swearing at you. To the parade commander, please shout louder, I don't know who is the upper management who choose you to become the commander when your voice is so soft.

Ok, that's all for today, hope that tomorrow's training will be a success. Good luck to me!!! ;)
